Per Florida Statues, 1007.271, for Dual Enrollment Programs, dual enrollment and early admission students are exempt from the payment of registration, tuition, laboratory fees, and the cost of instructional materials. Eligible secondary public, charter, private, and home school students in grades 6 – 12 are admitted to the program based on GPA requirements and placement as outlined in the Dual Enrollment Articulation Agreement, which is required to be reviewed annually.
A foster care student may have all matriculation and tuition fees exempted for a maximum of 32 credit hours per year. The exemption is valid until the student reaches 28 years of age.
Any student who lacks a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence or whose primary nighttime residence is a public or private shelter designed for, or not ordinarily used as regular sleeping accommodation for human beings shall be exempt from tuition and fees (see Florida Statutes, Chapter 1009.25(1)(f) and Chapter 239.117).
According to Florida Statutes, Chapter 288.8175, linkage institutes between postsecondary institutions in the state of Florida and foreign countries allow designated foreign students to study in Florida at any State University or College. Students may receive in-state tuition rates enrolling in the Florida-Israel Institute.
